Here's a quick fix: just turn it off and on again. Seriously, restart your PC and retry the installation. Fixes more than you'd think.

Honestly, just reinstall your entire operating system. If Valorant's not installing, it's clearly a sign. (JK, please don't do this. Try running as admin first.)

Running into the 'can't install a required dependency' error in Valorant can be a real bummer, but don't worry, there's a couple of tricks to fix it. First off, make sure to run the Valorant installer as an administrator. Right-click the installer > Properties > Compatibility > Check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Also, double-check your antivirus isn't blocking any Valorant files. Sometimes, antiviruses see game files as threats. If that doesn't work, reinstalling Riot Vanguard, Valorant's anti-cheat system, often does the trick. Lastly, ensure your Windows is up-to-date to avoid compatibility issues.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
