Alright, here's the deal: it's usually about permissions or corrupt game files. First, try running Valorant as an admin like the first person suggested. If that doesn't work, you might need to dive into the game files and run a repair. Valorant has a built-in repair tool in the client. Just hit the gear icon and look for the 'repair' option. It scans your installation and fixes what's broken. Worked for me after a patch went sideways.

Your antivirus might be the culprit! Some antivirus software sees Valorant as a false positive and blocks it. Try adding Valorant and Riot's launcher to your antivirus exception list. Saved me a headache!

Ran into this nightmare myself and what finally fixed it was running the game as an administrator. Right-click on the Valorant shortcut, go to properties, then compatibility, and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Nvidia or AMD, doesn't matter, just get them shiny and new. Sometimes old drivers just don't vibe with Valorant.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
