Honestly, sometimes the quickest fix is just buying a new one. They aren't too expensive these days.
I had issues with drifting on my Xbox 360 controller. I fixed it by spraying some compressed air around the joystick to remove any dust and dirt that had built up. Worked like a charm!
Try recalibrating the joystick in your console settings. If that doesn’t fix it, you might need to replace the joystick module. There's plenty of guides and kits available online!
