Unplug the console completely, wait for about 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. This can reset the drive and help it open.

You can also carefully use a paperclip to manually open the disc tray. There鈥檚 a tiny hole near the disc tray for this purpose. Just insert the paperclip and it should pop right open.

First, try pressing the eject button gently but firmly a few times. Sometimes it's just a bit sticky and needs a little convincing.

I had the same issue and fixed it by cleaning the disc tray. Dust can accumulate and cause it to stick. Use a can of compressed air to clean it out.

Honestly, just buy a new Xbox. The 360 is kinda ancient at this point.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
