Try cleaning the disc with a microfiber cloth and some isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe from the center outwards, don't swirl!
As someone who's been through this, I found success with toothpaste. Apply a tiny amount, gently rub in circles, rinse and dry well. It won't make it perfect, but it can help.
Just buy a new disc or download the game digitally. Trying to fix it might be more hassle than it's worth.
