You can try recalibrating the controller through Xbox's settings menu. If everything else fails, consider replacing the analog stick module or even the controller. Sometimes, it's just time for an upgrade!

Take it from personal experience鈥攃leaning worked wonders for my controller! Just pop off the joystick cap and use a bit of compressed air and a microfiber cloth. Good as new!

Try updating your controller's firmware first, sometimes it's as simple as a software fix. If that doesn't work, gently clean around the joystick base with a cotton swab and some isopropyl alcohol. Make sure the controller is off before you do this!

Honestly, if you're experiencing stick drift, it might be easier to just get a new controller.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
