Keep your squad spread out and use the 'Run and Gun' ability for a sudden flank. Always keep an eye on the enemy's lines of sight. Remember: A flanked enemy is a dead enemy!

Flanking in XCOM 2 is all about positioning! Move your soldiers to the sides or behind enemy cover to get that sweet flank shot bonus. Use the terrain and high ground to your advantage to stay out of sight while you maneuver around the enemy.

Move to high ground whenever possible for better visibility and movement options. Use grenades or explosives to destroy enemy cover, then reposition your soldiers to take advantage of the exposed enemies. Easy peasy!

Honestly, just blow up their cover with a grenade. Problem solved.

From my experience, it's all about outmaneuvering the aliens. Always keep your squad mobile and make sure to use abilities like 'Run and Gun' or 'Phantom' to keep the pressure on!
