Flying a plane in GTA V is all about mastering controls and practicing! First off, you need to get into a plane. Once you're in, use the throttle (RT on Xbox, R2 on PlayStation, and W on PC) to speed up and pull back on the stick (left joystick or S on PC) to lift off. To steer, use the left joystick on consoles or the numpad keys (4 and 6 for left and right, 8 and 5 for up and down) on PC. Remember, landing is the tricky part: decrease your speed as you approach the runway, and gently lower the plane while keeping it as level as possible. Practice makes perfect!

Quick tip: Don't forget to retract your landing gear after takeoff by pressing the L3 button on consoles or G on PC. It makes you go faster!

Honestly, just keep crashing until you don't. That's how I learned. Planes are everywhere, and GTA doesn't penalize you much for a spectacular fail.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
