Formatting a micro SD card for your Steam Deck is super easy! Just pop the card into your Steam Deck, head over to 'Settings,' then 'System,' and look for 'Format SD Card.' It'll guide you through the process and get your card ready for all those awesome games! Remember, doing this wipes all data on the card, so back up anything important first.

You actually can't format SD cards in the Steam Deck itself. You've gotta use a PC or another device to get it formatted to FAT32 or exFAT. Then, just slide it into your Steam Deck and you're good to go. It's a bit of extra work, but worth it for that sweet, sweet extra storage.

Careful with the card format. FAT32 for compatibility, but exFAT is better for larger files. Choose wisely based on your game sizes.

No need to format, I just popped mine in and it worked. Sometimes, it's plug and play, baby!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
