Formatting your Steam Deck SD card is pretty straightforward! Just pop the SD card into your Steam Deck, head over to the 'Settings' menu, then 'System', and look for 'Format SD Card'. Click that, follow the prompts, and you're good to go. Remember, formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up anything important first!

Just a heads up, you don't really need to format the SD card unless you're experiencing issues or it's brand new. The Steam Deck can use it as is most of the time. But if you gotta, the steps in the system settings are super simple.

Actually, I think it's often better to format new SD cards right away. It ensures they're clean and fully compatible with the Steam Deck's file system. Better safe than sorry!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
