How to Friend People in Animal Crossing
Friending in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward! First off, make sure both you and your pal have a Nintendo Online subscription. Then, one of you needs to open your island's gate at the airport and invite the other. The visitor needs to go to their airport and ask to fly to a friend's island. Once they arrive, you'll get a prompt to add them as a Best Friend in-game, which lets you see when they're online and visit each other more easily!

Honestly, it's a bit of a hassle. You gotta have that Nintendo Online, then mess around with airports and friend codes. Sometimes, it's just easier to hang with the NPCs.
