First, you'll need to install a custom firmware (CFW) on your PS3. Once that's done, you can use an FTP server app like multiMAN or Blackbox FTP. Connect your PS3 and your computer on the same network, open the FTP app on your PS3, and use an FTP client like FileZilla on your computer to enter the IP address displayed on your PS3. Easy peasy!

Honestly, it's a bit of a hassle. Just make sure you have CFW and use multiMAN.

Get a custom firmware installed (plenty of guides online), then use an FTP server app like multiMAN or Blackbox FTP. Connect your PS3 to your network, start the FTP server app, and use FileZilla on your computer to connect to the IP address shown on your PS3 screen. Voil脿!

I've done this! Install custom firmware on your PS3 and use multiMAN or Blackbox FTP. Use FileZilla on your computer to connect to your PS3's IP address. Worked like a charm for me!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
