To fully delete Facebook messages, open the conversation, click on the three dots, and select 'Delete Chat'. Confirm your action and poof! It's gone for good, at least on your end.

For those who like life on the wild side: Archive first, then delete. It's like ripping off a Band-Aid, only gentler.

Go to the conversation, hover over the message you want to delete, click on the three dots, and choose 'Remove for You.' If you need it gone from both sides, ask the other person to delete it too.

Deleting Facebook messages is as simple as hitting delete, unless things have changed since yesterday!

You can delete messages on Facebook by opening the conversation, selecting the message you want to delete, tapping on the three dots next to it, and choosing 'Remove' or 'Delete.' Just be aware that this only deletes the message for you – not for the other person.
