To grab the 2.0 update for Animal Crossing, just make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet. Head to the Home menu, hover over the Animal Crossing game icon, press the '+' button on your controller, and select 'Software Update' followed by 'Via the Internet'. Your game should start updating to the latest version, adding all the cool new features to your game!

Honestly, it's pretty much automatic if your Switch is online. Animal Crossing should prompt you to update when you launch it if there's a 2.0 version waiting. If not, just follow the manual update steps in the system settings!

If you don't see the update, your Switch might not be online or you're out of storage space. Check your internet connection and manage your Switch's storage, then try again.

Nah, don't worry too much about updates. The 2.0 update will find you if it's meant to be.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
