Getting an axe in ACNH is pretty straightforward! First, talk to Tom Nook in the Resident Services tent. He'll give you a DIY recipe for a Flimsy Axe after you give him fish or bugs. Use your NookPhone to open up the recipe, then gather the needed materials - 5 tree branches and a stone. Use a crafting station, and voila, you've got yourself a Flimsy Axe. Upgrade it to a stone axe or a regular axe later by getting more materials and recipes!

Just buy one from Nook's Cranny if you can't be bothered to craft. Saves time and effort, tbh.

Honestly, just find a friend who plays a lot and visit their island. I got like 3 axes from my buddy's island because they had a bunch of extra DIYs lying around. Plus, visiting friends is half the fun of ACNH anyway.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
