To get a backup code for your PS4, go to 'Settings' -> 'Account Management' -> 'Account Information' -> 'Security'. Enable 2-step verification and you'll be given backup codes. Easy peasy!

I've done this before! Go to 'Settings', navigate to 'Account Management', then 'Account Information', and finally 'Security'. Enable 2-Step Verification, and you'll get your backup codes. Super simple!
