Oh, you're hunting for a Demon Altar, huh? Well, you can't actually 'get' one to take home and put under your pillow. Demon Altars are found scattered across the world, particularly in the Corruption or Crimson biomes. They look kinda spooky and are used to craft certain items like the Night's Edge sword or to summon bosses. So, grab a snack, maybe a friend, and start your expedition underground or wherever Corruption or Crimson has touched the land. But remember, you can't move them, so you'll have to visit them in their natural habitat.

Pro tip: Don't try to destroy a Demon Altar with a regular hammer early in the game unless you fancy a world of pain. Wait till you have the Pwnhammer post-Wall of Flesh boss fight. Even then, smashing them changes the world's ores, so be careful!

You can't pick up a Demon Altar, period. They're stationary and exist for crafting and boss summoning. So if you wanna use one, you've gotta find it where it naturally spawns. Good luck!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
