If you've forgotten your device setup password for the PS3, you can reset it by accessing the 'Sign-In ID (Email Address)' and 'Password' section under 'Account Management' on the PS3 itself.

Head over to the PlayStation Network (PSN) website, log in, and navigate to 'Account Management'. From there, you can set or reset your device setup password!

Honestly, just go to your account settings on the PS3 and reset the password directly from there. Super easy!

Once, I had to reset mine, and it was pretty straightforward. Just log into your PSN account via the PS3, go to 'Account Management', and you can reset the password from there.
