I snagged my fancy DIY workbench recipe from a message in a bottle on the beach. Keep an eye out; the island's full of surprises!

Just talk to Tom Nook, lol. He hands them out like candy at the start.

Getting a DIY workbench in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward! Early in the game, Tom Nook will give you a simple DIY workbench recipe during one of his DIY workshops. Just attend the workshop, and you're set. If you miss it, you can still buy the DIY workbench recipe from the Nook's Cranny shop. Plus, you can find other workbench variations across the island or get them from bottles washed up on the beach and balloons!

Honestly, the starting DIY workbench is kinda lame. Aim for the mini or the full-sized ones you can find recipes for around the island. Way cooler.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
