Nope, you can't just go out and buy a dog like a car. Chop is the only dog you get through gameplay, which honestly makes him even more special.

Getting a dog in GTA 5 is a fun way to add more life to your game! You can't just buy a dog in the game, but you can get one through Franklin's storyline. Once you meet Lamar, you'll be introduced to Chop, a Rottweiler. Franklin can interact with Chop by walking him, playing fetch, or teaching him tricks after completing the mission 'Chop'. If you're playing on next-gen consoles or PC, you can also download the iFruit app on your smartphone in real life to train Chop and improve his abilities in the game!

Actually, Chop's the only dog you get, but let's be real, he's all the dog you need. Who needs a pet shop when you got a Chop?

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
