Gettin' a firetruck in GTA 5 is actually pretty simple! The good ol' fashioned way is to dial 911 on your in-game phone, choose the fire department, and then wait for the firetruck to arrive. Once it does, you can 'borrow' it for your fire-fighting (or not) adventures. Another fun method is to cause a bit of chaos like setting cars on fire. Firefighters will show up in a firetruck to put out the fire, and there's your chance to snag one.

Just steal it, lol. Whenever you see one driving around or at a fire station, just hop in and take it for a spin.

Dialing 911 for fun stuff, never thought I'd see the day. Tried it, and yes, you can indeed summon a firetruck to your location this way. Who knew causing chaos could be so resourceful?
