Once you're there, start hunting down those pesky Clowns during a Blood Moon in the Hardmode. They have a chance to drop the Bananas, which are key. Then, gather 20 Souls of Fright by defeating Skeleton Primes. After that, it's a matter of combining the Bananas with 20 Souls of Fright and 20 Iron or Lead Bars at an Iron or Lead Anvil. Boom! Flamethrower is yours.
