To snag a garbage can in Animal Crossing, you've got a few options. First off, keep an eye on your Nook's Cranny shop inventory, as the garbage can might appear there for purchase. Another route is shooting down balloons with your slingshot; they sometimes drop furniture, including garbage cans. Last but not least, check in with your villagers. Occasionally, they might gift you a garbage can after you complete tasks for them.

You can also craft one if you get the DIY recipe! Keep an eye out for message bottles on the beach or help out your villagers, and one might just give you the recipe. It's a more satisfying way to get your hands on a garbage can if you ask me.

Just buy it from Nook's Cranny when it pops up. Easy peasy.

I managed to get mine from a balloon during a night of endless balloon hunting. So, keep your eyes on the sky and your slingshot ready!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
