Gold Islands are usually found by exploring the Buffalkor Island. Just keep defeating Buffalkors and harvesting resources there, and you鈥檒l eventually find gold deposits.
I got my first gold deposit by mining diligently on Buffalkor Island. Once you get your gold totem, the gold will start spawning on your island too!
Honestly, there's no such thing as a dedicated gold island. Just get gold by mining on different islands or using gold totems.
