Gyms normally appear in high-traffic areas like parks, monuments, and shopping centers. If you don't see any in your area, try visiting nearby popular spots.

To take control of a gym, you need to battle the Pokémon defending it and defeat them. Once you do, you can add your own Pokémon to defend the gym for your team!

You can't place gyms in specific locations, but you can suggest new locations for PokéStops and gyms through the Niantic Wayfarer program if you're eligible.

You can't create a gym in Pokémon GO yourself. Gyms are usually found at popular real-world locations like landmarks or public spaces. Try exploring your local area to find one!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
