To get a hold in MLB The Show 23, bring in a relief pitcher with a lead of no more than three runs, make sure they pitch at least one inning, and they must leave the game with the lead intact. Basically, they can't blow it!

From my experience, put in your best reliever in the 7th or 8th inning with a 3-run lead or less and don't give up the lead. Simple as that!

Just use a setup man in the 7th or 8th inning with a small lead, and don't let the other team catch up. Easy!

Bring in your reliever when you're leading by 3 runs or fewer, and have them maintain the lead through one inning. Presto, you got a hold!
