To snag yourself a ladder DIY in Animal Crossing, you gotta play through the early game milestones. Specifically, you need to start the process of inviting new villagers to your island. After you've selected spots for their homes, Tom Nook will hit you up with a DIY recipe for a bridge. Build that, and the next day, our man Nook will give you the ladder recipe as part of preparing for these new folks. Just follow the story, and before you know it, you'll be climbing to new heights!

Quick tip: You can also get a ladder DIY by snagging it from a friend's island if they've got an extra recipe lying around. So, if you're impatient like me, just holler at your buddies.

Actually, the ladder's not that big a deal. Just terraform your island later and you won't even need it. #TeamTerraform

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
