Life Fruit in Terraria? Easy peasy! First thing, you gotta make your way to the Underground Jungle biome. These shiny little fruits start popping up once you've defeated any of the Mechanical Bosses - The Twins, The Destroyer, or Skeletron Prime. They look like little golden hearts just chilling among the foliage. Keep your eyes peeled though; they're not always in plain sight. And remember, you can't just snag them with any old tool; you'll need a decent pickaxe or drill. Happy hunting!

Just go to the Underground Jungle after smashing a Mechanical Boss. Look for gold hearts.

Honestly? It's all about luck. You could wander around the Underground Jungle forever and find nada. Happened to me until I got my pal to join. Suddenly, two Life Fruits in 10 minutes. Sometimes multiplayer is the way to go.
