To get a map in The Forest, you gotta find the cave called 'Cave 2 - Hanging Cave'. It's near the southern part of the main cannibal village. Once you鈥檙e inside, look for the map on a wall next to a body. Happy exploring!
I personally got my map from Cave 2 while getting thoroughly spooked by mutants. It鈥檚 worth it though!
