Honestly, starting over might seem fun at first, but it's a lot of work. I did once and kinda regret it. Think it through!

If you're not keen on losing everything, consider creating a new profile on your Nintendo Switch. Each profile gets its own island, so you can start from scratch without saying goodbye to your current progress!

Just buy another Switch, lol. Easy peasy way to get a new island without losing anything. Plus, you can visit yourself!

Restarting your game is the way to go if you're looking for a complete do-over. On the Nintendo Switch, you'll need to delete the saved data for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which you can find in the System Settings menu. Just know, once you delete it, all your progress goes poof! So make sure you really want a fresh start.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
