No slingshot? No problem! If you see a present floating by on a balloon and can’t shoot it down, just wait for it to float over the beach. Eventually, the balloon will lower, and when it's just above the ground, you can smack it with your net to snag that gift. Timing is everything, so watch the shadow and get ready to swing!

Actually, you can also get presents without a slingshot by being patient. Sometimes, during certain events or from specific characters, you'll receive gifts directly. Keep an eye on your mailbox and talk to your villagers often; you never know what surprises you might get!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
