Basically, just bring in your closer in the 9th inning when you're winning by 3 runs or less, and have him finish the game without losing the lead.
Just remember: 3 run lead or less, your pitcher finishes the game, boom, you got a save.
Speaking from experience, make sure your closer has good stamina and control to avoid blowing the save!
