I recently got one! Simply open Skype, go to 'Settings', click on 'Account & Profile', then 'Skype Number', and bam, follow the steps from there!
Just head over to the Skype website or app, sign in, and navigate to the 'Skype Number' section under 'Manage Features'. Follow the prompts to choose your number.
