Getting a Star Cannon in Terraria is a bit of a journey! First, collect Fallen Stars that drop during nighttime. These are crucial. Next, you need to craft a Minishark from the Arms Dealer for 35 Gold Coins. Once you've got your Minishark, combine it with 20 Meteorite Bars (you get these from smelting Meteorite Ore, which falls as meteorites in various biomes) and 5 Fallen Stars at an Iron or Lead Anvil. Bam! You've got yourself a Star Cannon.

Just buy a Minishark and mix it with some Meteorite Bars and Fallen Stars. It's that easy.

Honestly, the Star Cannon's not worth the hype. Save those Fallen Stars for Mana Crystals instead.
