Why complicate things? Just zoom out and adjust your angle, done!
You need to use the camera mode. Press the 'C' key, and you can get an overhead view of your build. Trust me, it makes a world of difference!
Just zoom out using your mouse scroll wheel, then adjust the angle by moving your mouse while holding the right mouse button. Easy peasy!
I always use the 'C' key to change the camera view when I'm building in Bloxburg. You can get a bird's eye view this way, and it makes designing so much easier!
