Oh, the elusive water bottle! Getting one in Terraria is pretty straightforward. Just grab yourself an empty bottle (craft one at a furnace using glass, which you make from sand at the same furnace) and head over to any water source. Stand next to it, and with the bottle in your inventory, just click on the water. Voila, you now have a water bottle! These bad boys are super useful for crafting potions, so keep a bunch on you.
Just jump into any body of water with an empty bottle in ur inventory and click. Water bottle = secured.
I remember the first time I tried to fill a bottle in Terraria, lol. I ended up throwing all my bottles into the water thinking that's how you fill them. Pro tip: just stand near water and click with an empty bottle selected in your inventory. It's that simple and yet, it took me way too long to figure out.
