To get a 'wife' in Fallout 4, you're basically looking at a few romanceable companions. Piper, Cait, and Curie are some options where you can enter a romantic relationship. Make sure to max out their affection towards you by engaging in actions they appreciate and having successful dialogue options. Once their affection is high enough, you'll have the opportunity to romance them, which is as close as it gets to having a wife in the game!
Just max out affinity with a companion you dig and pop the big question when it comes up. Short and sweet. ;)
