Unlocking Akuma is simple but requires some skill! First, unlock Gouken and then beat Arcade mode with any character without continuing, and get at least one perfect round. You'll then face Akuma as a secret opponent, and beating him will unlock him.

It's all about the perfect rounds! Beat Arcade mode without losing a round and get at least one perfect victory. Akuma will appear, and you just need to defeat him.

Play on Medium or higher and get at least one Perfect Victory and two Ultra Combo finishes. Don鈥檛 lose any rounds. Beat Akuma when he appears.

Honestly, just go into arcade mode, don't lose any rounds, and score at least one perfect. Fight him, win, and he's yours.

If you really just want Akuma without fuss, you could always use a cheat code or mod, but where's the fun in that?
