Getting an axe recipe in Animal Crossing is pretty simple! First, talk to Tom Nook in the Resident Services tent. He'll give you a DIY workshop where you'll learn to craft a Flimsy Axe. Later, upgrade it by buying the 'Pretty Good Tools Recipes' from the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Happy crafting!

Fun fact from someone who's been there: After I got my Flimsy Axe from Tom Nook, I used it till it broke SO many times. Once I got enough Nook Miles, I upgraded to the better tools recipes. Makes a huge difference. Also, don't chop too much, or you'll scare off the bugs!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
