Honestly, upgrading to Angel V4 can be a grind. You've got to get that Mirror Fractal from the Cake Scientist and then go through the Temple raid in the Third Sea.
First, make sure your character is in Angel race V3. To upgrade to V4, you need a Mirror Fractal from the Cake Scientist in the new world. Then, reach Third Sea and complete the Temple raid after meeting certain conditions. Happy flying!
