Getting around Shroud in Magic The Gathering can be a bit tricky since it prevents a creature from being the target of spells or abilities. However, there are ways to deal with it! Global effects are your best friend here, as they don't target. Think board wipes like "Wrath of God" or "Damnation" which destroy all creatures, shroud or not. Another strategy is using effects that don't specifically target, such as "Plague Engineer" choosing a creature type, affecting all of those types without targeting.

Just use board wipes or global effects that don't target individual creatures. Shroud can't stop a "Day of Judgment"!

Equipments and Auras can't attach to creatures with shroud since they target when being cast. You gotta think bigger and not direct. Global enchantments that affect every creature on the field or your creatures regardless of shroud work well. Or, get your hands on something that changes the rules of the game, like making all creatures lose shroud or all abilities.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
