Getting black ink in Terraria is like playing hide and seek with squids! You gotta find and defeat a creature called a Squid which spawns in the Ocean biome. They're a bit rare but hang around the ocean's surface – patience is key here. Once you've shown a Squid who's boss, it'll drop Black Ink. This is your golden ticket to crafting all sorts of dark-themed items!

Honestly, everyone's going on about finding squids, but let me tell you, it's all about when you hunt. Squids seem to love the rain, so if it's storming, grab your gear and head to the ocean. My best hauls of black ink have always been during stormy weather. Coincidence? I think not!

Just go squid hunting at the ocean. They drop black ink. EZ.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
