Honestly? Just use Lutris. Install it from the Discover store in Desktop Mode, then grab the Blizzard launcher from there. Easy peasy.

First off, you're gonna wanna boot up your Steam Deck into Desktop Mode. Once there, open up the Discover software store. In Discover, search for 'Lutris' and install it. Lutris is like a magical portal for gaming on Linux (Steam Deck's OS is SteamOS, which is based on Linux). After Lutris is installed, open it up and search for the Blizzard launcher. Install the launcher through Lutris, and voil脿, you should be all set to play your favorite Blizzard games on your Steam Deck.

While you can install Lutris and then get the Blizzard launcher, remember the performance might vary game by game. Always check compatibility lists online first!

I actually did this last week! Boot into Desktop Mode, install Lutris, then through Lutris, get the Blizzard launcher. Played Overwatch on my deck without a hitch!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
