Boss mode? Just beat the game. Finish all the Adventure mode levels and bam, you're in. It's Dr. Zomboss time.

Honestly, just play through the game. The Boss Mode isn't a secret level or anything, it's part of the storyline. Beat all levels in Adventure mode, and you'll face Dr. Zomboss. That's your 'Boss Mode.' Good luck!
