Sadly, you can't directly get The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BOTW) on Steam Deck since it's a Nintendo Switch exclusive. However, there's a workaround with emulation. By installing a software called EmuDeck on your Steam Deck, you can set up emulators for various consoles, including the Switch. Do note, you need to own the game legally to use its ROM for emulation to stay on the right side of the law.

BOTW on Steam Deck? Dream on! It's a Nintendo exclusive. Maybe in an alternate universe, where Link and Steam unite!

Directly? No can do. BOTW is a gem locked in Nintendo's treasure chest. But, if you're tech-savvy and respect legal boundaries, EmuDeck opens the door to emulation. Remember, piracy is a no-go.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
