Getting Butterfly Wings in Terraria is all about catching a rare critter called a Butterfly! First thing, you'll need a Bug Net from the Merchant to catch butterflies. Specifically, you're looking for the Julia Butterfly, which spawns in the Jungle biome during the day. This little critter is your golden ticket! Once you've caught one, head to the Witch Doctor at night and if you're in Hardmode, you can trade the butterfly and 20 Souls of Flight for those fabulous Butterfly Wings. Remember, the Witch Doctor has got to be living in the Jungle for this trade to happen. Happy flying!

Julia Butterfly + 20 Souls of Flight at the Witch Doctor = Butterfly Wings. Witch Doctor needs to be in the Jungle tho. Simple as that.

Honestly, Butterfly Wings are overrated. There are so many cooler wings to get in Terraria that don't involve chasing after bugs.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
