Quick tip for obtaining the City's Blessing in MTG: focus on getting ten permanents on the battlefield as fast as possible. Tokens, low-cost creatures, and lands count, so use them to your advantage!

Actually getting the City's Blessing isn't always worth it. Depends on your deck and strategy. Sure, it can give you a boost, but sometimes it's a distraction from a more straightforward victory. Just my two cents.

To achieve the City's Blessing in MTG, you need to play a card with the Ascend keyword. Once you control ten or more permanents at the time you cast an Ascend card or at any time after that while you control that card, you immediately get the City's Blessing for the rest of the game. Remember, it's not just about having ten permanents when you play the Ascend card; if you reach ten permanents at any point afterward, you'll get the blessing, no extra card needed!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
