Clay is a bit tricky to come by in V Rising. Head to the Farbane Woods and look for areas with dirt mounds—you can dig them up for clay!

You can find clay in the Bandit Copper Mine and by smashing crates and barrels there. Keep an eye out for dirt mounds, too!
