Honestly, I just bought the DLC on my 3DS and BOOM! - Cloud was in my roster ready to bust out some Limit Breaks.
For Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Switch, Cloud is part of the base roster. Just play through classic mode or adventure mode to unlock him!
In Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, you can get Cloud by purchasing his DLC from the eShop. He's worth every penny!
