Easiest way to snag a cutting board in Animal Crossing? You gotta get lucky and snag the DIY recipe from a bottle on the beach or a balloon. If RNG isn't in your favor, another solid move is to hit up your villagers when they're crafting in their homes. They might just be making that coveted cutting board and will give you the recipe. Or, if you're feeling social, ask around in the AC community. Plenty of players are willing to trade recipes or even craft one for you if you provide the materials!

Hot take: Just buy it from someone online. Seriously, why wait for a random drop when you can get it now? Time is bells, folks.

I actually got my cutting board recipe from a villager. Was just doing my daily chit-chat rounds and bam, there it was. They were busy crafting away, and I got the recipe just by talking to them. So, don't underestimate the power of just hanging out with your island pals!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
